About
I’m the creator and editor of the site. It’s a joy to add to this treasure trove of royal research, and I’m happy you can join me here. My passion has always been teaching other Americans about the history of Britain’s monarchy. When I made my first trip to London in 2008, it was an amazing experience that truly felt like going home.
My interest in the monarchy began at age seventeen. My grandmother’s stories, as well as genealogy research, led me to my English roots and, subsequently, an interest in the country’s system of government (and how cool is Ancestry.com to help with genealogy?). The following year, this site was born to document my research and admiration for the Queen.
I strongly encourage a solid connection to Britain in general. The house that is modern America was built on a British foundation. If we lose touch with that, then we weaken the bond between two great nations.
